• Barbecue on 21st of August 2014

Dear Members and Friends,

In the past years we have held the barbecue at the Steig and everyone who attended enjoyed it. We will therefore be holding it there again this year. The Steig will set up a grill in the HopfenBeer-Garden and cook the food for us. There will be a generous salad buffet, steaks and sausages. We are still bartering over the price, this will be €13,- to 13,50.

Date: Thursday August 21st, food starting at 1800, of course we can arrive earlier to enjoy the sunshine and convivial conversation.

• Boat Trip to Mainau Island

Between Sept 11th & 18th we plan a trip to the Island of Mainau. Just at this time there is a change from summer to winter schedule, so we have to pick a time when the boats run and the weather favours us. We will take the boat at 9:40 and arrive Mainau at 12:45, we will leave about 17:00 returning to Lindau about 20:00. 

The price for a boat return ticket including entrance to Mainau cost 46,-, discounts for parties start at 50 persons, so there is no advantage for us to purchase tickets in advance. This means that everyone will have to be at the harbour in good time to buy their own ticket.
